Last weekend (December 14th), Canal Caracol started the rerun of Cardcaptor Sakura at 05:00h local time (GMT-0500) and has premiered Medabots, Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00h. And since December 7th, Canal RCN is airing Voltron at 4:00h, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen at 04:30, Taiho Shichauzo at 5:00h and Rurouni Kenshin (rerun of eps 1-20) at 10:00h. The very earlier schedules for most of the anime series are due to the adoption of policies of disrespecting the young audience by the TV channels.

The group Daigakumanga is making the "2a Semana de la Animación Japonesa" (2nd Week of Japanese Animation) in the Universidad Nacional in Bogotá (Carrera 30 - Calle 45, Avenida Eldorado - Carrera 40), from Monday, March 18th (today) to Friday, March 22th. Free for all events, people that pay 3000 pesos (around US$1.25) have some privileges.

Today Canal Caracol has just shown "Gakkyu-oh Yamazaki" (King of Classroom Yamazaki), at Sundays, 06:30h (11:30 GMT), and replaced Cardcaptor Sakura and Digimon Adventure 02 (mon-fri, 15:10 to 16:10) for Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT (all 4 are reruns).
Because Canal RCN had never completed any anime series since 1999 (except Taiho Shichauzo/You're Under Arrest), a group of Colombian anime fans is making a campaign to protest against RCN and demand the executives from that channel to complete the anime series the channel had aired incomplete. That series are Magic Knight Rayearth (this is the first anime series aired, since February 1999 RCN shown only 39 of its 49 episodes!), Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X, Detective Conan, The Red Baron, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (only four episodes aired!) and Tonde Buurin.
We also expect to make a massive request to the Canal Caracol for improvements in its anime-thematic program Animexpress
