I thought it might be of some interest for you that Dragon Ball Z will start in Germany much more earlier than mentioned before (in October, at 5:00 pm). The series starts on August 27th, 7:30 pm, on channel RTL II.

Dragon Ball Z starts in October on RTL2. The next Animeconvention is the AnimagiC 2001 in Koblenz from 15-17 June.

Kuromi-chan will be put on the screen at FMX 2001 Japan Day on Jul.10. This is an anime producing animation, directed by Akitaro Daichi.

There are many cool new things in germany right now:
*Cinema
Prinzessin mononoke (Mononoke Hime) has started.
*TV
Wedding Peach started on RTL 2 (TV) and Reideen started on Premiere World (Pay-TV)
VOX announced another Anime Night, but they won't show new things.
VOX will show Record of Lodoss War.
*New Manga in April
Digimon, Kimba, der weisse Löwe (Jungle Tantei), Vampire Miyu
*Manga delays Chirality, Video Girl Ai and Vision of the Escaflowne were delayed until June
*Merchandise
Carlsen Comics announced the Artbook for Mononoke Hime. Other Artbooks announced are: Magic Knight Rayearth Illustration Collecction Vol.1 and the Seraphic Feather Artbook. The Soundtracks for Digimon and Mononoke Hime were released.

RTLII has started to show the Anime Flint Hammerhead from Monday - Friday. The Anime was aired in Japan 1999 under the Name Jikuu Tantei Genshikun.

Rapid Eye Video announced that they will release the DVD of Perfect Blue on the 29th January and Planet Manga announced that they will release the Manga Kamikaze from Satoshi Shiki beginning in March.

There will be another Anime Night on the channel VOX. The date is 26.1. This one will be about 5 Hours again. They haven't told us which Movies they will show, but there will be only Sci-Fi Anime.

RTL2 said that they would send Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Ojamajo Doremi# in 2001. Other TV titles announced earlier are Card Captor Sakura and Wedding Peach.

The most people are happy now as the last episode of Sailor Moon will be shown on the 16.1. It will be replaced by Monster Rancher (original Title is Monster Farm) so we can watch 3 Monster Anime in Germany. Pokemon, Digimon and Monster Rancher.

Well some News here :
On 02/09/2000 (22:00 CET) the private channel VOX will send a movie-version of Blue Submarine No.6 (100 minutes) So I guess it's the whole OVA cut together. That's big news as Blue Submarine isn't even out on Video market here in Germany.
One week later
On 09/09/2000 22:00 (CET) the private channel VOX will send a movie-version of Agent Aika aka How many Pantyshots can you press into one minute.

On 12.06 the german/french cultur-channel Arte will show Grave of the Fireflies (The Movie from Studio Ghibli directed by Takahata) in a subtitled form.
German title is : "Die letzten Gluehwuermchen"

German private TV-Station VOX which showed some Anime in March will continue to show more Anime in June this year. They have plans to show Big Wars and Lilly Cat. I think both will be with german subtitle. I will post more on the exact dates, asap.

The private TV-Station VOX will be showing at the 22.-23. of March (0.10, night from Monday to Tuesday) a german dub of Armitage III-Polymatrix. One week later they will showing MD Geist.

Due to dubbing-problems DragonBall has been pushed back. The new broadcast-date will be arround autumn 1999. Rumours say that RLT-2 also bought the rights for Wedding Peach TV, no further statements when broadcast will begin have been announced. There are also news that RTL. (No not 2) has bought SaintSeiya TV and Ranma 1/2 TV. But this is still unconfirmed.

RTL-2 announced The broadcast of DragonBall will start on 03/25/99 with the first 52 episodes, it will be broadcasted daily from Monday till Friday (not sure if Saturday also) at 14:30 CET.

"Oh my goddess!" will be released in Germany by Ehapa. The first issue should be available in september and every second month a new issue will be released.
The first 2 artbooks of "Sailor Moon", (which are out-of-print) will be reprinted especially for the german market. The (few) texts will be translated into german.
Neo-A.M.I. / Jan.11,1999
SailorMoon has completed here in Germany. All 200 Episodes (okay 199) have been broadcasted on German TV (TV-Station RTL-2). It is now rerunning again starting at Sailor Moon first season. On Christmas they will broadcast the second Sailor Moon Movie again (S-Movie). Called the "Eisprinzessin" here. Next year RTL-2 will also start to broadcast DragonBall.
