For Anime related news in Malay, you can get it from the Gempak or Kreko Magazine (they sell for just below RM4/USD1 I think..) If you want to meet online Malaysian's to discuss about anime, just search for it using the Malaysian Search Engine, cari.com.my. There're lot of Malaysian anime otaku's out there! (just like you and me!) ^_- My personal favourite is Farah's Community at, http://pub25.ezboard.com/ffarahscomunity Anime trader's from all around Malaysia are there. And best of all, two of Malaysia's most popular manga artist, Aimo and Eisu (both freelancer's for the Gempak magazine) are there too! The latest CDs are the following 1.Vandread-Vocal Collection 2.Vision of Escaflown-the Movie Soundtrack 3.Love Hina's CDs MTV(in VCD form) 1.Megumi Hayashibara 2.Weiss Kruez(Concert) 3.Sakura Wars(Concert) All the items above are avalable in Ipoh.I dunno if other states have all this item...so..gomenasai!!!

Recently saw DVD boxed sets (Japanese with Chinese and English subtitles) for Orange Road (TV series and OVA), Vandread, Maison Ikkoku, Gundam 0079 movies (1 to 3) and Cowboy Bebop in Petaling Jaya.
Also heard that there would be model kit competition for Bandai products (i.e Gundam and Evangelion) held in Kuala Lumpur sometime in December.

Came accross DVDs (imported from Singapore) for Boys Be, Lain and Sol Bianca - The Legacy. The discs are in Japanese language with Chinese, English and Malay subtitles.

Saiyuki and Shadow Skills vcds are available now.Guys at Ipoh, you may have another place to buy Anime CDs...that is INSIDE Jaya Jusco...the place where you can buy Hi-Fis and etc...They sold it quite cheap.But the most suprising news is that...Malaysia is holding a COSPLAY! There is a malay magazine that I would like to introduce(4 those who dunno)
The title is Komik Remaja.They boost up all the containes,including new comics like
Saiyuki,Gun Blaze West(Nobuhiro Watsuki),Spriggan,Yu Gi Oh!,Pokemon Gold & Silver, Freeman,Samurai Deeper Kyo and other stuff.If you like making Gundam/Evangelion models,there are special column for that.Also,in this magazine,there are information of the latest games in Japan and also J-pop.Also,you can send your own creation of manga to them. You just know where to get it
The latest anime series are Wedding Peach(check it in your newspaper if you are interested)
Anyway...I need an answer why Sabre Marrionette has gone.....

Astro announced that they'll be airing Detective Conan in its chinese dubbed version over at Wah Lai Toi on Mondays to Fridays 5.30pm. Each episode will be around 30 minutes long.
With the new airing, its showing good improvement with this cable television company that they know much about anime's attraction to the young and adults.
Astro had aired Akazukin Cha Cha, Rurouni Kenshin before as far as I know. Hope there'll be more anime, better still, an anime channel itself!!
