There'll be an upcoming convention to be held at Glorietta I on May 22-26,Anime Quest 2k2. There'llbe a cosplay contest, art contest karaoke constest and anime interpretive dance contest. The OAV of HunterXHunter will also be shown in the convention. it's quite annoying because the 2 rivals channels have removed their afternoon anime. Yu-Yu Hakusho is still shown, it was repeated for 5 times. Crayon Shin-chan and Kuro Neko-chan is also shown and finally, Sailor Moon Stars.

I'd just like to tell all anime fans in the Phils. that our local network has brought out an Anime Assault that would spice up our summe vacation. On Monday we have Hell Teacher Nube, on Tuesdays it's Ranma 1/2, on Wendnesdays it's Master of Mosquiton, on Thursdays it's Monster Rancher and on Fridays we have Vision of Escaflowne. Adding up to the anime assault is Fushigi Yuugi, which is aired on Friday nights after Pokemon. They also featured Hyperspeed Grandoll last week as a two part movie. On the other local network, they air Tenchi Muyo, Wedding Peach and Saber Marionnette J. Promoon a 4 wheel drive give away is still on going, just watch Let's and Go. Weiss Kreuz is nearing its last few episodes so do watch out for that. that's it!!!

So it's been a while since I wrote in 'ere. Well, on local TV, Shin-Tenchi Muyo just got it's first exposure last week after the first Tenchi series. Surprise, surprise to all EVA fans coz Evangelion has replaced Rurouni Kenshin. Finally, we''l be able to find out what EVA is all about for ourselves:). Still on air are Yuu Yuu Hakusho, B'T X, Flame of Recca, Lupin III, G Gundam, Sailor Moon, Voltes V, Let's and Go, Weiss Kreuz and Combattler V replaced Daimos on its timeslot. Oops, Voltron Lion Team and Voltron Vehicle Team are still on air on a weekly basis. On cable, Akazukin Chacha'a still on air at Cartoon Network, while on AXN they have Flame of Recca, Grander Musashi and Ninku.
Pokemania is slowly crossing our Phil. shores as more and more kids long for Pikachu toys and others. Doraemon toys and Let's and Go's mini four wheel drives are on malls now. That's all for now..this is Jaycee signing off...

It's good new to all Philippine anime fans out there. It's because our country's local network just released Tenchi Muyo last Oct. 24, Rurouni Kenshin's still on air, as well as G Gundam etc. On Monday Nov. 1st, another local network will be bringing back Yuu Yuu Hakusho (which is released to our country as Ghost Fighter, btw) due to popular demand. Other animes being shown are Bt'X, Sailormoon (we're way behind...Super S) Lupin III which is a click among adults, Pokemon, Let's and Go and Weiss Kreuz (Knight Hunters).
Oh I forgot, Flame of Recca's still shown here. Yuu Yuu Hakusho comeback occured through an anime election are our local channel. Prople aroun d the country have been calling and e-mailing votes whether they still want to see YYH on air or not. The results of the election turned out a whopping 94% of people wantinh YYh back on air... that's why we'll see it again for the second time 'round. I hope we coul have anime conventions here as well.
