New Animes in the new year.

Oja-Majo Doremi (Feb.7): Doremi and her two friends aim at full-fledged witches. They have to buy "Maho-Dama (Magic Ball)" to imporve their magic power. So they made a magic item shop named "Maho-Do". This is their business story (?).
Microman the Small Giant [Chiisana Kyojin Microman] (Jan.4): 5 heroes have come to the earth from the planet "Microearth", and they are only 8centimeters tall. A boy, Kohei Kuji came to to know them, and he provided his desk as a Microman Base.
Himiko-den (Jan.6): Kutani and Himiko wandered into an old kingdom, Yamataikoku, and they have to help a new queen to throne.
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (Feb): Jeanne steals art objects in which devils lurk, and she seals devils into chessmen.
Mito's Great Adventure [Mito no Daibouken] (Jan.4): Mito seems a small child, but she is a visitor from outer space, and a space pirate listed in police-wanted list level special A. She can disguise herself everything, so even Aoi (her son, earthling) didn't know her true character.
Crest of Stars [Seikai no Monshou] (Jan.2): An SF story. The original work got the Galaxy Prize (This prize is given to the best Japanese SF novel in the year. "The Legend of Galactic Heroes" got this prize, too).
Dual! Paralle-Lun-Lun-Monogatari (Apr): Pioneer's another "Another World" story.
Super Bida-Man (Jan.4): This is not concerned with Bomber-man (^_^; A game of Bidama (marble) is played in old days, but I don't know it's wheather this anime will treat such an old game or not.
Betterman (Unknown): An odd phenomenon struck the future world, and Keita tries to solve the cause and the mystery of Betterman.
The Soul of the Best Guy in Japan [Nippon-ichi no Otoko no Tamashii] (Jan.4): It's aired after the final episode of "If I could see you in a dream...".

I changed the title description of "Niji no Senki Iris" from Iris : the Rainbow War to Hemos : the Green Chariot. Hemos is a Korean Anime, but the title "Hemos" does not sound well in Japanese language. So a different title was made when it was translated to Japanese. However, I began to think I'd better respect original one.

Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (His circumstances and her circumstances) is a romantic comedy. Yukino was a vey vain girl. She made all efforts to show herself beautiful, graceful, clever and tender-hearted. However, when she went on to senior high school, she met a rival. The boy, Arima, was a handsome, wise, elegant, and gentle boy. In addition, it's not his mask. Yukino felt inferior to Arima, but when they understood their true characters each other, tender feelings began to grow in the hearts of the two. They became the most conspicuous couple in their shool. And they incur ill feelings of some people, but they strive against many troubles.

Of course, it's rashness to judge workmanship of an anime by an episode, but the first episode of Gasaraki was excellent (^_^). Especially, Noh play of the hero (Yuushiro) impressed me so much. Noh is one of Japanese prominent classic entertainment. But no animes had treated Noh before, because the dance of Noh is very difficult to draw, but I think Gasaraki succeeded to express the beauty of Noh. However, Gasaraki is not a Noh story, but a mechanical action (maybe). So I'm looking for the next stroies (^_^)

He stood up, and went to the town Knives stayed.....

New Animes in Autumn.

Bubbulegum Crisis TOKYO2040 (Oct.7): An OVA series turned to a new TV series. Night Sabers (Sylia, Priss, Linna and Nene) fight to Boomers and Genom company.
EAT MAN '98 (Oct.7): Bolt Crank is a cool adventurer, but he eats everything : Bolt, steel, and guns. And you can also regenerate what he eat....
Super Doll Rika-chan (Oct.6): A doll spin off an anime! Rika-chan is a doll who is loved by Japanese girls, similar to "Barbie". Stories : Dollland send a super doll "RIKA" to Rika-chan to protect her. Rika-chan may be a key person of conflict of Dollland and Human World ???
Totsugeki! Pappara-tai (Oct.3): A gag anime. Pappara-tai is is the best soldiers of Anti-Alien Force, but they are the most thoughtless people...
Poporocrois stories [Poporocrois Monogatari](Oct.4): This is originated in a game.
Generator Gawl (Oct.6): "Generator" is a mutant made by "Inclusion Cell", and a schoolboy, Gawl, is one of generators.
Space-Time Detective Genshi-kun [Jikuu Tantei Genshi-kun](Oct.1): Genshi is a primitive boy who was born in 25th century.
Ojaru-maru (Oct.5): Ojaru-maru is a nobleman of 1000 years ago, but he came to the present day with a magic staff.
Let's Nupu-Nupu (Oct.5): Stories of an Ecchi school nurse. A cat appears regularly, but it doesn't concern with Nuku-Nuku (^_^;
Dokkiri Doctor (Oct.21): An old manga has become anime! Stories of an Ecchi doctor. (Again ? (^_^;) )
Flower Angel Ten-Ten-kun [Hanasaka Tenshi Ten-Ten-kun] (Oct.10): Ten-Ten is angel, and his job is making people aware of their own talent. But Ten-Ten failed to give a talent to a boy before he was born....

Anyway, Rurouni Kenshin TV series have just finished. In addition, Rurouni Kenshin on Weekly Shonen Jump may come to an end, too. Because xxxxx seemed to be killed by Enishi in this week....

But a sport meeting of the entertainment world was the next day.... If Lala couldn't take part in this meeting, the sisters would bilieve Miho is Lala.

The third witch, Amane-chan, appeared on Phan Phan Pharmacy (First is Fukiko-san, and second is Pot-pourri-chan). However, Amane-chan regarded Pot-pourri-chan as her rival, and she challenged Pot-pourri-chan to a magic duel. However, both of them can't use magic by themselves. Pot-pourri-chan's magic seeds are given by Fukiko-san, and Amane-chan's magic has no effect without her parrot's help. So they made peace for the time being.... (^_^;

Dreamy Kingdom Crayon has just reached the climax. Cabbeta, Negick, and Tomorokovski, and the Primi Minister Chameleon were changed to stones by Shinigami(demon), and other Crayon ministers began to lose their color.... In addition, King Golden and Queen will be killed unless Princess Silver can beat Shinigami. However, Silver and her party have a big hint to overcome Shinigami. She has twelve parts written a letter which was found in twelve villages : "DA","GU","HI","KI","KU","NO","RE","RI","SHI","SU","TA" and "WA". If they are lined up correctly, the only weak-point of Shinigami will be found out. Ston-Ston supposes the weak-point is "HINOWAKUGURI KITARE SUSHIDA (Getting through a fire ring. Come on, here is sushi)". Araessa's opinion is "WATAKUSHI NO HIDARI REGU[leg] KISU[kiss] (To kiss my left leg)". Cloud's is "WATAKUSHI NO HIDARI SUGU KIRE (Cut my left side soon)". And Princess Silver says "HIDARI WAKI NO SHITA KUSUGURE (Tickle under the left arm)". Which is the real weak-point ? (^_^;

Steam Detectives [Kaiketsu Jouki Tanteidan] (Oct. 7): Asamiya,Kia's detective stories. Narutaki is a detective boy, and he solves many affairs in Steam City.
Kurogane Communication (October): After the final war, only a girl is alive on the earth. This is a stroy of her and 5 robots.
St.Luminous Girls High School [St.Luminous Jogakuin] (October): Many accidents occurs to a girls high school.
Orphan the Sorcerer [Majutsushi Ophen] (October): Ophen is a sorcerer, who chases a woman. This anime shows his many adventures.
His circumstances and her circumstances [Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou] (Oct): Gainax makes a new TV anime. Yukino is a very vain girl, and she gave every spare moment to her display....

One of the Darkstar's lost ships, Golnnova, appeared at last. Kein tried to fight against it, but he lost briefly. Kein's ship, Sord breaker, is a lost ship, but Golnnova is a lost ship, too. Golnnova damaged Kein's spirit, so Canal dived to his spirit to save him....
By the way, Darkstar and Golnnova appeared in Slayers too, but the relationship between Lost Universe and Slayers has not been clarified yet.

The relation between Vash and Knives clarified at last. Knives made Vash use his hidden gun. The gun in Vash's right arm destroyed Augusta city, and it made a big crater on the 5th moon. People fear Vash the Stampede, but they don't know of the most dangerous person : Knives. He is trying to kill all the people on this planet who were saved by Lem, an elder associate of Vash and Knives. Many mysteries of Trigun became clear, but the battle between Knives and Vash has just started.

Classmates 2 [Dokyusei 2] (July 2): A famous game spin-off to anime.
Midnight Detective - Night Walker [Mayonakano Tantei - Night Walker] (July 4): A vampire anime. Vampire might have alrealy been a genre of Japanese anime (^_^;
Shadow Skill [Shadow Skill - Kagewaza] (July 2): Ele Lug is a fighter who use "Eigi (Shadow Skill)", and she ventures with her three friends.
Inventor Boy Kanipan [Hatsumei Boy Kanipan] (July 3): On Planet Sharaku, human and robot live together. Kanipan wants to be a great inventor, so he comes to Monshiro Town.
Urayasu Reinforcing-bar Family [Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku] (June 30)

Ryo must win the game, to make Izumi join the Kisaragi Baseball Culb. But Izumi is so vindictive that Ryo won't overcome her easily though she is a novice....

Katsumi accidentally lost her house, and her colleagues put her up. But their houses were not comfortable to live in (Kiddy was untidy sleeper, Lebia set traps in her own house, Nami was nerves, and Yuki liked uproar). Anyway, Katsumi could understand true characters of her associates (^_^;

The most dangerous cops appeared on Kochikame. Their names are "Moonlight Cop" and "Venus Cop". They seem normal middle-aged men, but when an affair happens, they put on sailor blouses without caring their hairy legs, and arrest criminals.

Yakan-kun (Mr.Kettle) is a "werekettle". He has a kettle head and a human body. One day, he got hurt seriously and his head was damaged so much. So his head entered hospital (a hardware store (^_^;) ), and he was attached a sieve head instead of his kettle. He was troubled ontologically, but Coji Coji didn't hesitate to call him "Zaru-kun (Mr.Sieve)" !

A rival of Katsura appeared. Dotook, a subordinate of Ganon, had regarded herself as the strongest woman in the universe for long time. But she found Katsura was more powerful than her... Since then, Dotook began to aim at Katsura's life.
By then way, the second series of Reliable Space Travel by YAT looks a story of space adventure, and there aren't any passengers on YAT dove (a spaceship of YAT). So this is a quite different story from the previous series for better or for worse.

Wakana was troubled with her love, and she asked a Zen priest's advice. He, Gengaku, is her grandfather's friend, and they had a cryptic dialogue about love. I've never seen such a difficult story ! (^o^;
By the way, Sentimental Journey has an subtitle : Stories of 12 girls in 12 cities. The stage is moving to the west to the east, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, and the stage of this episode was Kyoto. Check the location on a map if you're interested.

Princess Silver, of Dreamy Kingdom Crayon, stopped the war between Humburger Kingdom and Rice Ball Kingdom at last. The pricess of Humberger and the price of Rice Ball fell in love, but kings of both kingdoms did not allow their marriage. So he eloped with her, but both country blamed each other for their escape. Crayon Kingdom didn't want warfare, so Princess Silver took an active part in peace negotiations, and she made an unprecedented speech between forces of two countries....

Fancy Lala is a schoolgirl but she turns into an 18 years old girl. One day, she coaxed a strange stuff from her father : a bank account. She acted as a model but she didn't have a bank account to receive her reward. Her father couldn't see why his 8 years old daughter needs it (^_^;

The King of Game [Yuugi-oh] (April 4): Yuugi is an average boy, but when he completed "the 1000 years puzzle", he became a game master.
Princess Nine (April 4): Kisaragi girls' high school has a baseball club. They try to go to Koushien , an inter-high school competition. (You should understand how popular Koushien is in Japan before watching this anime. )
Sentimental Journey (April 8): A game spin-off to anime. Twelve girls episodes are introduced in twelve stories.
Magical Stage Fancy Lala [Mahou no Stage Fancy Lala] (April 5, TV OSAKA etc.): Miho is a 3rd grader, but she can transform to a 15years old girl.

The group found three of them, but a drawing of Suzaku has not been found yet. At the same time, they found Seishuku (aka Hotohori aka the Stars Map) in the tomb. These are great discoveries in Japanese archaeology !!!!

Neoranga (April): Neoranga is a big robot who obeys beautiful sisters' orders. By the way, when three sisters appear on a story, second sister always stands out in every anime. Do you know any exceptions? (^_^;
MAICO 2010 (April) AD2010, A radio station, Nippon Broadcasting, adopt an android as an announcer, Maico. This is a story around her.

All of them will be aired in a program, Anime Magazine BS-5. I haven't treated BS-5's anime programs because BS-5(WOWOW) is a pay view broadcasting. However, "Anime Magazine BS-5" will be provided freely, so I decided to treat them on my homepage (^^)

Four Girls looking for their prince are attacked by a misterious enemy. The enemy wants girls' cyberpets "Pata-P". I heard Pata-Ps were pretty robots (they make me remember Tamagotchi), and they were keys of the story. (Really?)

BASARA (April)

Stories of love and wars between Shuri and Sarasa. Shuri is a prince of a large country, and he killed Sarasa's twin brother, Tatara, the leader of a rebel army. Sarasa disguised herself as Tatara to hide his death, and become the new leader. One day, Shuri and Sarasa met and fell in love, but they don't know their true characters each other.

Gandhara (April)

Gandhara is a demon who is controled with music. This is a story of Gandhara and two musicians. Saijo,Yuuki is a boy who resign a guitarist. Emma Brant is a singer who had longed Yuuki's band.

Mi - Pha - Pu (February)

This is composed by three animes.

Turn to me, Mi-ko!: Story of daily life of Mi-ko.
Fushigi Mahou, Phan Phan Pharmacy: Popuri is a ten years old girl, and she become a pupil of a witch who manages a pharmacy.
Heli-Tako Pu-chan Pu-chan is an octopus who has a propeller. This is a comedy around him.

Ninja Penguin Manmaru found that his best partner, Nen-Nen, was a spy(?) of an enemy. Nen-Nen was a part of ninja clay, and the ninja clay got back his part (nen-nen). Manmaru wanted to take back nen-nen, but the ninja clay was strong and immortal.
